Courses
Mick Gilmore
Art courses and workshops. (Details and dates below)

Since 1997 I have run regular workshops from my home on Bayston Hill Common, three miles south of Shrewsbury. I enjoy working with total beginners in a social, relaxed environment, as well as more experienced artists who want to explore new approaches, I have a particular interest in helping people overcome barriers to their creativity.
There are currently two on-going groups on Tuesdays and also a Wednesday morning group. Over the term we explore a variety of themes that in past year have included ;’ through the window’, ‘winter trees’, ‘light on water’ and ‘Autumn colours’.
The groups are very supportive and though some people have been coming for several years each term new people join and they are always made very welcome. We usually end each term with an informal lunch party and shared food.
In addition to these regular sessions I also hold one day courses on a particular theme or technique. These were on a Thursday and during the Autumn term of 2009 these included mixed media, letting-go and taking a new look at water colour technique.
For information about both current and forthcoming courses please see below.
